This course teaches the foundational principles and skills required to operate and program ABB industrial robots. Technicians, engineers, service personnel, supervisors, and system integrators will all benefit from this course. Following successful completion, students will be able to manually operate robots and create basic programs using the teach pendant. The course emphasizes hands-on experience with the robots.

Steven is a Treasure Valley native with manufacturing in his blood. From a young age, he spent his summers at his family’s sugar beet equipment company sweeping the fab shop floors and pulling drawing sets in the engineering office. Since earning his Mechanical Engineering degree from Boise State University, he’s accumulated over a decade of machine design experience in various industries where he has been a driving force in implementing new technologies and developing innovative new products. He’s a proud husband and father of three beautiful and adventurous daughters. Steven loves spending time in the outdoors backpacking or riding and racing any type of bicycle he can get his hands on.
