The goal of this course is to provide instruction in more advanced programming features and techniques, introducing students to ABB’s RobotStudio software. This course is designed for students who have successfully completed the Programming I class.

I have some quality experience working with ABB robots current robotic workplace operator, programmer, maintenance person, etc. I have taken a robotics programming course and want to move forward with more advanced training

Course Type

Classroom setting, coach-conducted course that combines tutorial with practical exercises. The emphasis is put on the hands-on exercises on an ABB robot.

The purpose of this course is to introduce students to 6-axis robots. Students learn basic programming and operation using the system’s teach pendant.

This course covers the basics that a general and new user would need to know: basic controls, robot moves and programs, stations, tools, task frames, etc
